Registered Breeder Listing
Below is our current and updated listing of registered Lykos Wolfalike Dog Breeders in Australia. There have been other breeders developing the Lykos Wolfalike breed (Wolfden and Zioena) who have recently retired from breeding but are still in good standing with the LWCA.
Head on over to their website or social media pages by clicking their logo/picture:
All breeders listed on this page are current financial members of our organisation, have signed our Code of Ethics & follow our Rules and Regulations, and that of their applicable State and local Council legislation for breeding practices/codes, which has been verified and checked by all office bearers.
We are the official and only Lykos/Wolfalike organisation and are the parent club for any 'wolfalike' in Australia.
The Lykos Wolfalike Council of Australia Incorporated (LWCA) is an incorporated body and is in NO WAY associated with any person advertising ‘Australian Wolfalikes’. Please do your research and look at buying only LWCA registered dogs. We cannot recommend any "Wolfalike" breeder not registered by the LWCA. LWCA breeders must strictly observe our Code of Ethics, abide by State and Local Council Laws and conduct themselves honestly and ethically during all transactions and contractual agreements. The LWCA does not endorse commercial breeding of dogs, backyard breeding or puppy farming.
Health records of LWCA registered breeders have been independently verified and litters approved by all LWCA Management Committee. LWCA registered breeders have the highest ethical standards - only breeding for the improvement of our developing breed in accordance with the Breed Standard - NOT for any 'designer dog' or commercial pet market. The LWCA support breeders who dedicate adequate training, socialisation and attention to their dogs. The welfare of all animals are of paramount importance to us.
If looking to purchase a puppy of any breed or mix, always visit the breeder and view their property in person and check how their dogs are kept at the bare minimum.
Buying a responsibly bred dog ensures you are not only supporting ethical breeders, you're not just bringing home a wonderful companion - you're championing a cause that prioritises the welfare of dogs and responsible breeders.
Please do your research before purchasing a puppy and contact us if you would like to discuss more about purchasing a puppy from a reputable breeder.
